I came across this awesome article from wired. I can honestly say, it's true. Geeks do make better lovers- atleast the young, social, undercover Geeks -- which are my personal favs. ;)
In summary, here are 10 reasons why Geeks make better lovers. (as taken from the article by Regina Lynn.)
1) Geeks build it so you will come
Sex animations came from technical smarts and an open-minded approach. Geeks have the passion to commit their techie skills to expand sexual options for everyone, hence their dedication as lovers.
2) Geeks get personal with tech
"A geek is more likely to figure out how to customize toys and to design arousing environments for your avatars to play in than a non-geek. And that experience translates into a greater sensitivity to atmosphere and mood during sex -- beyond lighting a candle."
3) Geeks dig consensual role playing
erotic imagination
4) Geeks interact
And all of us gals love this: phone bangin! While the technophobes will only speak in person, geek is happy to be with you by texting your phone, flirting with you in a chat room, Skyping you, sending funny cell-phone snapshots to your e-mail, playing online games, commenting on your blog, Digging articles that interest you, seducing you by instant message…. YOU KNOW IT'S ALL ABOUT THAT! ..and MaaaaiiiiSpaaaace!
5) Geeks get things done
Geeks know all the shortcuts. They "research" your interests, plan dates/vacations out, and when asked to help set up your wi-fi or computer, they do it quickly and happily--- without complaint.
6) Geeks are HOT
and have the coolest glasses and gadgets.
7) Geeks don't shock easily
They have more porn on their machine anyone can imagine. So bring on your exotic erotic requests.
8) Geeks know kinky people
yes, we do. we are them. LOL! :D
9) Geeks understand multi-dimensional relationships
online/long distance/local relationships etc.
10) Geeks aren't threatened by the new tech or "future of sex"
Geeks read lots of sci-fic. "Geeks have imagined more sexual dystopias than the average person and are the first to see the technological developments"
So there you have it! And I know this is corny but someone said this.
"A Geek Enters your life, Saves you in his/her heart, and never Deletes you from his/her Memory."
Aw! So cute! I know, BARF! :p

Horoscopes - crock of shit?
thanks to Sm's post, I was inspired to check my horoscope. OMG! Soulmaaate! It's so true! HOLY SHIT! I'm a believer!
This was from last Thursday, April 19th!
"
Quickie:
Some romances take time to develop. Be passionate, but also have patience.
Overview:
This new person is just fascinating, but there's something about him or her you can't quite get a handle on. So give it time before you decide one way or the other. After all, that's how the fun happens: when you let it."
[taken from: http://astrology.yahoo.com/astrology/general/dailyoverview/aquarius/20070419]
Then for Friday:
"Why just talk when you can sing? Why write an email when you can send a funny online greeting card? Put some effort into trying to be more creative with how you communicate today. People will feel pampered by the extra few minutes of attention that you give them, and their hearts will be warmed by your unique way of expressing how you feel. Let your ideas flow, and don't try to fit your words into pre-existing (and boring) templates."
and OMG for SUNDAY:
You are feeling many contradictory emotions right now, and your feelings might be confusing you to the point of frustration. You need to take a step back from them, so you can look at things in a more analytical, objective way. Getting your emotions organized will help you understand them better and launch you into a much more productive phase. So instead of reacting to your feelings, start dissecting them.
Per SM, I must never, ever forget rule #1...

The magic of touch
Don't ask how or why but I found this off the web:
"Thirty minutes of sex can burn approximately 150 calories – less than the same amount of time on the stair climber, but more than an average yoga class (115 calories). In fact, sex three times a week for a year burns more calories than running 75 miles and, according to the Kinsey Institute, we lose about five pounds a year due to sex alone."
Fuck it.

bullshitters
they're everywhere. I've learned to just let them run their mouth and pay no attention to them. Seriously, you don't have to lie to kick it.

Procrastination
I'm guilty of it. :(
I came across this quote online-
"A task left undone remains undone in two places - at the actual location of the task, and inside your head."
So true! There's more stress in just thinking about it. Argh!!!!!

Omg! Kelly Clarkson has done it again!
Kelly's new CD, My December, will be out soon and this is her first single from it. Actually, this is the REMIX. The song's title is Never Again (Dave Aude Remix).
The original version has more of a rock flair that matches well with her sexy voice but this, hands down, is the best! While the Dave Aude remix is more of a dance/vocal trance sound and it's...OMG, I can't explain it. Just listen and download here. And if you are looking for the lyrics, click here. Enjoy!
Man! I can't wait for her CD.

The shortest love story
Once upon a time, a girl asked a guy, "Will you marry me?" The guy said "No!"
And the girl lived happily ever after &went shopping, drank martinis with friends, always had a clean house, never had to cook, had a closet full of shoes & handbags, stayed skinny, & was never farted on.
The end.

All is fair in love and war
I came across this show called "The Ultimate Love Test". I recorded half a show and ended up subscribing to the season. Basically, troubled couples are separated and one partner stays home while the other is paired up with another partner (that has the qualities his/her current partner lacks) for a month of ( all expense paid) romance at a resort. At the end of the month, they get $50K each and have to make a decision to stay with their partner or split up.
I find it weird how quickly the partner that is off at the resort is happily starting a new relationship with the new guy/girl the show has matched for them. Okay, it could all be BS but still. But then again, it's easy to fall for someone if you're on an all expense paid vacation, experiencing and exploring new things together. It's easy to get wrapped in the fantasy of it all. Isn't it? Shoot, I wanna take a vacation and fall in love for month.
Anyway, when it came time for this one girl to say goodbye to her new partner, she was all emotional. (i guess I would be too) But the advice he was giving her is worth remembering. Forever. He told her that he wants her to be happy regardless her decision. (blah, blah) And for her to do what she loves and that everything else is fair. (Her love was art and she wanted to have her own gallery etc.) He told her it wasn't complicated. If she was staying with someone because of the fear of hurting them, that is the wrong reason to be with them. That is so damn true. When I heard that, it hit home. Been there, done that! I guess that's why I try to may logical sense and decisions on the like.
I hate unnecessary drama. Then again, is there any type that is? :/

Just when you least expect it
Funny how when you want to give up and when you are almost done letting go, something happens to give you hope. It's not much, but enough to keep you from getting bitter. It reinforces my belief that everything happens for a reason.

island feva
I'm past the R&B/ old school jam phase. I am so sick of allergies right now and Claritin isn't cutting it.
Right now, particularly at this moment, I crave:
78-88 degree weather w/ slight humidity.
Sandy beaches.
Cool breezes.
The smell of Hawaiian tropic sun tan oil.
The saltiness of the ocean on my lips after jumping the waves.
fresh pineapples.
light fragrance of plumeria in the air.
sunshine!
warm nights.
and how do you think I cope with this craving and medicate my burn out? Well, with the sweet sounds of reggae beats, of course! That's right! ALL day, ALL night!
